Welcome to the first installment of “Photo Friday”. These are the “leftover” pictures that I feel need a place to call home. I hope that you love them as much as I do.
‘Cafe Au Lait’ Dahlias. If you’ve never heard of them, they’re totally in fashion right now – and understandably so, the colors are so gorgeous. Though, they obviously vary.
A bucket full of mixed sunflowers. Sorry to say that I’m not quite such which varieties these are.
These Lavender Queen and Benary’s Salmon zinnas are sporting a beautiful ombre coloring. I’m not sure what causes this, but I’m absolutely in love with it.
These Benary’s Red were bigger than some of my sunflowers. I’ve never seen zinnias this large before. Talk about glorious!
A bucket filled with zinnias, gladiolus, and celosia.
After hours of picking, my reward was buckets of flowers! Not a bad trade, if you ask me!
Another arrangement to keep to myself. Filled with zinnias, sunflowers, celosia, dianthus, echinacea, globe amaranth, bright lights cosmos, amaranth, and pokeweed foliage. I feel so lucky to be able to pick these.
My first try at drying flowers. Dried sunflowers look quite unique! Who knows if this homemade drying rack will work! I hope so!
