The Last Sunflowers of the Season

Hi Lovelies,

I was certainly cutting it close on today’s post. Currently, I’m cleaning up a giant mess of a flooded basement. Since I’ve got a lot of mopping to do, I thought I would show you some of the last sunflowers that were picked. I planted the seeds rather late, around August 10th – and they certainly were racing the clock! Luckily, some of them did make it before the frost. I hope you enjoy! I’ll be back tomorrow in full swing, ready to finish Blog-tober!

Volunteers are the best! Some people transplant them, but I just let them be – which would explain why I have amaranth growing in the middle of almost every flower bed I have, LOL.
